Our story!

BIMA INTERNATIONAL was originally created in 1976 named BIMA TRADING after its founders Bill and Marianne Echtermeijer.
The company was Specialized in commercial consulting and trading between the professional producers, and customers in the B-to-B markets across Europe. Their expertise was mostly in meat and steel (fence) products in a very open and transparent way.

In the beginning of 2000 the son Raymond joined the company and fence perimeter protection and security solutions became the leading product range this with a more global approach. The family company grew quickly and was taken over by Market leader Van Merksteijn Fences in 2008. The name was directly changed in Van Merksteijn Fencing Systems, Raymond stayed and the company was growing further into the Europe markets and even beyond that.

After some strategic changes in the Van Merksteijn Fences Group, Raymond and his son Joost started brainstorming about the entrepreneurship within the family history in 2023. with key factors centered around being close to the people, maintaining close relationships and always being transparent with their partners. The idea was created and we revived BIMA TRADING in a name and logo more fit for the image of the company: BIMA INTERNATIONAL.

Now BIMA INTERNATIONAL is back, offering a multitude of perimeter security systems. Ranging from WPC fences and ornamental fences for residential needs, to high security systems designed to secure every aspect of your perimeter both commercial and residential.
